Parchment Presentation Step by Step

Step 1: Order Transcripts Through Parchment
You need to send your current high school transcripts with all of your college applications. Parchment allows you to send your transcripts to many colleges, and it's free during UCAW.

If you have a code, enter it on the website. If not, click the link "I don't have a Registration code" and you can create an account. 

If you have taken Concurrent Enrollment classes, you will need to send your college transcripts to each school you apply to as well. You do this through your SLCC or Weber account.

Parents and seniors- Come fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid
 between 5-8 PM in the Career Center! 
This application may qualify you for free money to pay for college.

We will have taco tickets for those who complete the application, and CPA make-up for those who need to complete hours.

For seniors who decide NOT to fill out an application and attend Mr. Platero's presentation, please sign in using the QR code provided or this link HERE

You applied to college. now what?

  1. Keep your username and password in a safe place. (TIP: Make your username or student # a contact in your phone)
  2. Check your email for updates.
  3. Check the college's website for your application progress.
  4. Apply for FAFSA
  5. APPLY FOR HOUSING IF YOU ARE MOVING AWAY FROM HOME (found on the school's webpage).
  6. Apply for SCHOOL scholarships (found on the school's webpage).
  7. Apply for private scholarships.
  8. Give a copy of your acceptance letter to your counselor.
  9. Pass your classes.
  10. GRADUATE on 5/25.
  11. Send your final transcript to the college you're going to.
  12. Register for classes.
  13. Accept your financial aid through your school's portal/website.
  14. Go to college!
