The purpose of College Application Week is to help every high school senior complete at least one college application during the school day.

Why College Matters!
During College Application Week Seniors will have the opportunity to:
- Order FREE Official High School Transcripts through Parchment
- You will need a CODE to access your account. Counselors will provide you with a code during College Application Week. If you need it before then, please contact your school counselor. (Instructions on how to use Parchment)
- Apply for College through Keys to Success
- Create a KTS account video tutorial
- SLCC CE students planning on going to SLCC, follow this instructions.
- SLCC CE students NOT going to SLCC after high school, follow this link.

ATTENTION!
If you are absent during the UCAW event, please go to your College and Career Readiness class on Canvas. You will find all this information and additional video tutorials on your UCAW Module. Talk to your school counselor if you have any questions!

- October 19 from 4-8 pm
- November 9 from 4-8 pm
- December 7 from 4-8 pm
- Your 2021 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned; check the Federal Student Aid website to see which year’s tax returns and W-2s you will need.
- If you are a dependent student, you will also need your parents' tax information
- Your Social Security Number
- Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
- An FSA ID to sign electronically
Dinner will be provided for FAFSA events!
You applied to college. now what?
- Keep your username and password in a safe place. (TIP: Make your username or student # a contact in your phone)
- Check your email for updates.
- Check the college's website for your application progress.
- Apply for FAFSA
- APPLY FOR HOUSING IF YOU ARE MOVING AWAY FROM HOME (found on the school's webpage).
- Apply for SCHOOL scholarships (found on the school's webpage).
- Apply for private scholarships.
- Give a copy of your acceptance letter to your counselor.
- Pass your classes.
- GRADUATE
- Send your final transcript to the college you're going to.
- Register for classes.
- Accept your financial aid through your school's portal/website.
- Go to college!
